This is a full gauntlet mitt built for cold, wet resort days when you want your hands out of the elements. The shell is 10K/10K waterproof-breathable polyester with a GORE-TEX insert — not a laminate, an insert, which is worth knowing. THINDOWN Sorona insulation (120GSM) runs throughout: it's a down-hybrid that packs light and holds warmth without the bulk you usually trade for that. The palm is CLUTCH synthetic leather, which holds up better than standard nylon against pole handles and lift rails. Cuff is a proper gauntlet with a drawcord and wrist strap, so you can seal out the snow without fighting the mitt every time you need a hand free.

It's a solid choice for someone who skis hard in variable conditions and wants a mitt — not a glove — that won't feel like wearing oven mitts. If you run warm or mostly ski bluebird days, this is more mitt than you need. Also worth noting: the gauntlet cuff goes over your jacket sleeve, so if you prefer under-cuff wear, look elsewhere. No removable liner here — this is a one-piece setup.
