The Radium Pro S is Salomon's small-frame goggle built for women and anyone with a narrower face who wants performance optics without a frame that drowns them. The spherical SIGMA Photo lens handles the full range of mountain light in a single lens — VLT runs from 14% to 51% (Category 1–3), so it tightens up on bluebird days and opens back up when clouds roll in. The Pink Red filter tint in this colorway is tuned specifically for flat-light and overcast conditions, pulling contrast out of low-angle light and muted terrain that washes out with a neutral lens. You get one lens and one lens — this is the photochromic single-lens version, not the dual-lens kit — so if you regularly ski dawn patrol plus afternoon sun in the same session, that adaptive range is the whole point.
The Custom ID fit uses two layers of face foam shaped for narrower face contours rather than a one-size-trimmed approach, and the triple-layer foam with velvet backing is comfortable worn all day. The lens swaps out without tools if you ever want a different tint. The goggle works over prescription glasses and integrates cleanly with Salomon helmets; it will fit most standard helmets as well. At 135g it's genuinely light. Who should skip it: if you have a medium or large face, the S frame will sit too small and you'll want the standard Radium Pro instead. If you want a dedicated low-light spare lens for night skiing or storm days already included in the box, look at the Radium Pro S with Extra Lens SKU — this one ships with just the photochromic lens and a microfiber bag.
