The Four JR XS is Atomic's smallest goggle, built for young kids with small faces who are just starting to rack up days on the mountain. The cylindrical double lens — which curves horizontally but stays flat vertically — gives a wide field of view without the optical distortion of a cheaper flat lens. Atomic's Flash Lens Technology adds a mirror coating that cuts glare on bright days. The Live Fit Frame uses adaptive triple-layer face foam that conforms to a child's face without pressure points, and the silicone-coated strap grips most helmets cleanly.
OTG Lite grooves let kids who wear prescription glasses slip them underneath without removing them. The lens has anti-fog, hydrophobic, and anti-scratch coatings built in. There is no quick-change lens system and no spare lens included, so this isn't the goggle for a kid who needs to swap between bright and low-light lenses in a day. It also won't fit older kids or tweens who've grown into a medium frame — for those, look at the standard Four JR instead.
