The Fjällräven Vidda Pro Ventilated Trs M are the traditional G-1000® trekking trousers, refreshed with more ventilation. G-1000® is wind- and water-resistant and hardwearing; stretch fabric through the crotch keeps the slim cut from fighting you on a step-up.
Ventilation openings run from the hips down to the knees. Six pockets, including large leg pockets with buttoned flaps — one with an interior mesh pocket — a knife pocket on the right leg and an axe loop at the waist. The waist also carries attachment zones for braces and gear loops. Leg endings adjust by buttoned strap and can be removed if you would rather they were not there.
One thing worth knowing before ordering: G-1000® is water-resistant, not waterproof. It sheds a shower and dries fast, and it takes Greenland Wax if you want more. It is not a hardshell and is not sold as one.
