The Fjällräven Kiruna Padded Parka W is a long everyday parka in G-1000® Original — the durable, wind- and rain-resisting fabric — lined in recycled polyamide.
The insulation is PrimaLoft® Black with P.U.R.E. Technology, which is synthetic and therefore keeps warming in damp conditions where down would flatten out. At 90 cm the cut covers the rear and thighs. The two-way front zipper has protective flaps on both the inside and outside with press buttons at collar, waist and hem, so wind does not find a way through the closure.
G-1000® Original is wind- and rain-resistant rather than waterproof; it is the right jacket for cold months in town and forest walks, not for standing in sustained rain.
