The outside is low-friction so it slides under a shell without dragging; the inside is lofty, warms and moves moisture out. G-1000® reinforces the shoulders where a pack strap wears through first. Full-length two-way zip, hand pockets, and flatlock seams to keep bulk down under other layers.
