The Fjällräven Kånken No. 2 is the Kånken rebuilt in double-waxed G-1000® HeavyDuty, with leather handles and details. The original was released in 1978 to help prevent the back problems Swedish schoolchildren were developing — the shape has not needed much changing since.
The main compartment opens wide so packing does not mean excavating. The back pocket holds a padded seat pad in G-1000® HeavyDuty, which also stops the contents pressing into your back. Two side pockets and a zipped front pocket; the inside back pocket is G-1000® Lite.
