One layer of down sits in stitch-through channels through the body. The shoulders are padded with synthetic insulation instead — that is where a pack strap presses the loft flat and where moisture collects, and synthetic handles both better than down does. Adjustable hood with the Expedition Series detailing, two zipped hand pockets and a zipped inside pocket.
