The Fjällräven Expedition Long Down Parka W is the extra-long reading of the classic Expedition Down Jacket from 1974, in recycled polyamide.
The insulation is roughly half down, half synthetic, and it is not mixed — the two sit in separate layers with an offset construction, so there are no cold spots where the baffles line up. At 112 cm the length and the roomy adjustable hood do the work on a windy day, whether that is a forest walk, ice fishing, or standing still outdoors. Two top-loading pockets open from the sides as well.
