The QST Spark is Salomon's entry point into the freestyle side of the QST family — a twin-tip ski built for the skier who is learning to have fun rather than trying to charge. The construction is straightforward: lightweight poplar woodcore, stepdown sidewalls, and wide steel edges, with no titanal or structural metal laminate in the layup. That keeps the ski light and forgiving, which is exactly the point. The profile runs 12% tip rocker into a camber section underfoot and 10% tail rocker — enough lift at the ends to release and press on cat tracks or in the park, with camber underfoot holding an edge on groomed snow without requiring perfect technique. The 85mm waist is quick to swing from turn to turn on hardpack, and the symmetrical twin-tip shape means switch riding is a natural extension of every run. Paired here with Salomon's M10 GW binding (DIN 3–10, GripWalk and alpine sole compatible), it's a ready-to-ski system that covers most beginner-to-intermediate-weight riders without needing to source hardware separately.

This ski is aimed squarely at developing skiers — late beginners and early intermediates who split time between groomed blue runs and the terrain park and want a single ski that handles both without punishing mistakes.
