The Descente Tech Sweat Shirt is the crewneck companion to the brand's Tech Sweat hooded parka, part of the .EX line built for everything around a day on snow rather than the run itself. It carries no membrane, no waterproofing, and no insulation. It is a soft, lightweight sweat layer, closer to good sportswear than to technical outerwear, and it is honest about that.
It is made from the same structured sweat knit Descente calls Cardboard Knit, cut in a regular fit through the body and sleeves with a ribbed crew collar, cuffs, and hem. As part of the 26FW Marco Odermatt Collection, the capsule named for the World Cup racer, it carries the Marco mark at the chest and a mountain-range graphic across the back on most colorways, kept quiet rather than loud.
Without a hood, it layers cleanly under a shell or jacket and sits comfortably on its own for travel, apres, or everyday wear off the hill. It is an easy piece to pack and an easy one to reach for on the weeks between trips. Since it is a sweat layer rather than a weather piece, plan to wear a shell over it once conditions turn. If you want a hand with sizing, or with how it fits alongside your other layers, the PTO team is happy to help before you buy.
Available in mountain navy, cloud blue, black, and icicle gray, in men's sizing.
