The shell is a glue-on hybrid construction — polycarbonate outer with separately molded EPP foam liner bonded at key points — which gives it better durability across repeated impacts than a basic hardshell. That foam is the heart of Rossignol's IMPACTS system: expanded polypropylene holds its protective properties longer than standard EPS, so the helmet stays effective through everyday knocks, not just one big hit. The Dial R-Fit system lets you dial in the fit as your kid's head grows mid-season, and the fixed vents with internal airflow channels keep things comfortable on warmer days without creating cold spots. Certified to EN 1077 and ASTM F2040. No MIPS or rotational-impact system included.
