Description
Agile, fast and precise: the Laser SL is a ski for short, fast turns on the slopes. Thanks to the new Carbon Power Turn technology, you feel even more acceleration at the end of the turn. Providing the precision you need for twisting descents, the harder racing sidewalls turn this ski into a real racing package. So off you go, show off your turning skills on the slopes.

The take
“Every turn on the slope is a pleasure — lightning-fast edge-to-edge with elastic rebound that pulls you into the fall line.”
The Laser SL is Stöckli's race-inspired slalom carver for advanced recreational skiers — race DNA without the full punishment of a FIS-spec ski. The 66mm waist changes edges in a blink, and the full camber profile with Flex Torsion Control bites into ice and hardpack with unwavering grip.
What sets the SL apart from typical slalom skis is the ride quality. It's remarkably composed and calm at speed — no twitchiness, no chatter. The Piste Race Core with beech wood delivers that signature Stöckli smoothness: damp, quiet, and powerful. Turn finishes are elastic, with a rebound that accelerates you into the next arc. It's a ski that rewards rhythmical short turns and makes them feel effortless.
Compared to the SL FIS, the standard SL is lighter, softer, and more forgiving. It's available in 150–170cm (PTO stocks 160/165) and shorter turn radii, making it accessible to a broader skill range. The FIS is stiffer, heavier, with phenol sidewalls and a FIS-legal radius — a full race ski. The SL is the version you want if you love slalom-style turns but don't need to race gates.
This is a pure piste specialist. On groomers and firm snow, it's outstanding. Off-piste, crud, or soft snow — look elsewhere.
Bindings we'd pair with it
Mount point: Stöckli plate system (pre-mounted). Our pick: Stöckli SRT 12.
- Stöckli SRT 12Standard pairing
SRT-Speed-D20 plate with Salomon SRT 12 binding. DIN 4-12. The standard system binding for recreational SL skiing.
- Stöckli WRT 12 GWRace-oriented
WRT-D20 plate with WRT 12 GW binding. Stiffer plate for more direct power transmission.
The Laser SL ships as a system ski with an integrated plate. Third-party flat bindings are not compatible.
