The take

Not a kids' board wearing a pro label — this has a sintered base, real camber, and a flex that expects your kid to actually ride.

The Future Team Pro MK is for the junior rider who's already past the learning phase and needs equipment that keeps up. This isn't the Ripper with fancier graphics — it's a proper performance board scaled to youth sizes.

The sintered EcoSpeed HD base is the standout spec. Most youth boards use extruded bases because kids don't wax their gear. Nitro put a sintered base on this one anyway, which means it runs faster and absorbs wax better. For a kid who actually rides hard, that difference is real.

Cam-Out camber provides genuine edge engagement with forgiveness in the nose and tail — important because even skilled young riders are still developing technique. The 5/10 flex is medium for a youth board: stiffer than beginner gear, but not so demanding that it fights back. True twin shape rides the same both ways, which is what park-oriented kids want.

Mid-wide sizing across all three lengths accommodates growing feet and oversized boots, which is a practical consideration parents will appreciate.

At $430 for a kids' board, the price needs explaining. This is for the kid who's riding 20+ days a season and will actually use the performance. If your child goes three times a year, the Ripper at $230 is a better use of money.
