The Bino is Marker's entry-level ski helmet for young kids, built to be light enough that they'll actually want to wear it. In-mold polycarbonate construction keeps the weight under 350g — that matters when you're fitting a 4-year-old who resists anything on their head. The XXS fits head circumferences 45–49 cm (roughly ages 3–6) and the XS fits 50–54 cm (roughly ages 6–10). The RTS dial on the back gives you a quick snug-up without taking off a glove. Fixed earpads and a removable, hand-washable X-Dry liner keep it manageable between ski days. Certified EN 1077 Class B.
This is a resort-use toddler and young-child helmet. It does not include MIPS or any rotational-impact protection system. It has no visor and no audio integration. If your kid is older, more aggressive, or you want rotational protection, look at a step-up option. But for a first helmet on a beginner who just needs coverage, light weight, and an easy fit adjustment, the Bino does the job without overcomplicating it.
