Description
The Marker Alpinist 8 is a light pin touring binding for experienced touring skiers, with a DIN range of 3 to 8. This version comes without a brake.
Active length compensation lets the heel move back up to 4 mm as the ski flexes. The stiff ISI toe has a wide footprint and integrated stop for easier step-in. The heel has 0°, 5° and 9° positions, and a 38 mm wide hole pattern carries power to the edges. It takes touring adult soles (ISO 9523). Marker rates it Intermediate and Advanced.
DIN is an indicator range; a technician sets your actual release value. We can mount it for you.
