Hestra Baby Zip Mitt

HESTRA Micron polyester fabric makes up the backhand, and the palm is PU. Primaloft Gold is the insulation. The lining is brushed polyester, and the spec doesn't mark it as removable.

Hestra lists five features. The zipper in the cuff opens it up so a small hand can slide in, and the Velcro closure at the wrist then closes it. Hestra also lists reflective details. Attachments for handcuffs (Hestra's name for wrist leashes) take a leash, so a mitt that slips off stays hanging at the child's wrist. And the whole mitt is machine washable.

Warmth starts with the Primaloft Gold insulation, and the brushed polyester lining sits inside it. The mitt shape helps: with the fingers together in one compartment, they share warmth, and the thumb has a separate space. Hestra's spec calls the Micron backhand windproof and breathable.
