Flex 100
StiffLast Width
100mm— Medium (100–101mm)
100 flex, 100mm last, BOA lower closure. The Hawx Prime 100 BOA covers the widest range of medium-volume feet at this price. The BOA H+i1 dial replaces the lower buckle — faster, more even pressure, adjustable with gloves on. Memory Fit heat-molds shell, cuff, and liner up to 6mm in the forefoot.
Compared to the Dalbello Cabrio MV 100, the Hawx is more precise in the lower foot thanks to BOA, while the Dalbello has a roomier 101mm fit and three-piece Cabrio flex. The Salomon S/PRO Delta BOA 100 GW is a wider-volume alternative at 102mm for feet on the wider side of medium.
Strengths
- +BOA H+i1 lower closure — faster and more even than traditional buckles
- +Memory Fit heat-molds shell + cuff + liner in one session
- +Prolite shell: lighter without losing stiffness

Medium-volume intermediate-to-advanced skiers upgrading from rental boots. All-mountain daily driver.
Limitations
- −No walk mode — bootpackers look at the Hawx Prime XTD
- −BOA cable is a rare but possible failure point
- −100 flex may be soft for aggressive experts — step up to 110 S
Not For
Wide feet (102mm+ → Hawx Magna), narrow feet (98mm → HEAD Raptor), touring, or 110+ flex chargers.
Common Questions
- What foot shape fits the Hawx Prime 100 BOA?
- Medium-volume feet around 100mm width at reference size 26/26.5. Average width, average-to-slightly-tall instep. Memory Fit can expand up to 6mm in the forefoot for borderline wide feet.
- Is the Hawx Prime 100 BOA good for beginners?
- Flex 100 is intermediate-to-advanced. Beginners should look at the Hawx Prime 80 or Speed 80 HV+ for a softer flex.
- What bindings work with GripWalk boots?
- GripWalk ISO 23223 soles require GripWalk-compatible, MNC, or MN bindings. Most modern alpine bindings from Look, Marker, and Tyrolia are compatible.
