Description
The Zulu 55 is Gregory's men's weekend backpacking pack. The FreeFloat hipbelt is linked to the frame by a panel that moves with your hips, a tensioned mesh back panel holds the pack off your back for airflow, and a perimeter wire frame carries up to 50 lb. The torso adjusts 3.5 in. You get top, U-zip front and bottom sleeping-bag access, big hipbelt pockets, a floating lid and stretch side and front pockets.
Made for one- to three-night trips. For longer trips or heavy group gear, the Baltoro 85 Pro carries more. For day hikes it is more pack than you need; look at the Miko. The women's version is the Jade 53. Two sizes; the specs below are for MD/LG.
