Description
The Verte 12 is a resort pack designed around the chairlift: the CloudControl hipbelt works like a goggle strap with no loose webbing tails, the shoulder-strap webbing is tucked away, and the side zip pocket opens while you are sitting on the lift. It has a padded front pocket for avalanche rescue gear, ski and snowboard carry, and an insulated harness sleeve that helps keep a drinking hose from freezing.
Good for resort days and short sidecountry laps with a layer, water and a snack. It is too small for touring; for that, the Targhee 26 is the entry point. If you want a little more room and a full-length zip, take the Verte 18.
