Description
The Baltoro 85 Pro is Gregory's large-load men's backpacking pack. The FreeFloat A3 Pro suspension has auto-rotating shoulder straps and flex panels at the hipbelt, a perimeter alloy frame with a fiberglass cross-stay keeps heavy loads stable, and an AirCushion mesh back panel breathes. It comes in three sizes with adjustable torso and hipbelt, and has front U-zip access, a bottom sleeping-bag compartment, a three-pocket lid, a shoulder-strap phone pocket, a bottle holster and an attachment point for a bear-spray holster.
Made for long trips, winter camping and carrying group gear, with a 75 lb maximum load. At almost 6 lb it is heavy for a weekend; the Zulu 55 is the better choice there. If you need even more volume, take the Baltoro 100 Pro. Specs below are for size LG.
