The Draco Freebird is the only twin-tip in Black Crows' touring range — a 110mm ski built for skiers who tour for soft snow and want to ski it creatively on the way down. A paulownia-poplar core with fiberglass and carbon (no metal) keeps it genuinely light for the uphill, and the rocker-camber-rocker profile with a wide platform gives it real float in powder plus the ability to ski switch, butter, and pop off natural features. The longish ~21m sidecut and smooth flex make it forgiving and easy to handle in tight, technical spots rather than demanding.
It's for an advanced backcountry skier chasing powder and playful freeride lines, not maximum efficiency on long flat approaches — at 110mm and with a freestyle bent, it's more ski than you need for spring corn or distance traverses (the narrower Navis or Orb Freebird tour faster), and it's not a beginner ski. The widest, most playful tool in the Freebird line.
