Description
The Serpo is an energetic ski, perfect for carving on-piste turns while also capable of handling off-piste adventures. With a 93mm waist, it excels at carving and is designed to interact dynamically with the terrain, thanks to its medium flex. The inclusion of a metal layer enhances its responsiveness, edge hold, and stability, making it snappy and precise. Most importantly, it delivers solid performance without compromising the joy and playfulness of the ride.

The take
“The Black Crows that carves like it means it. Metal changes everything.”
The Serpo is the outlier in the Black Crows lineup -- the only current model with metal. Double titanal plates in an H-shape give it something no other BC ski has: real edge hold on hardpack. On firm groomed snow, the Serpo carves with precision and confidence that surprises anyone who has only skied the Camox.
At 93mm it sits in the all-mountain carving space. Narrow enough for quick edge-to-edge, wide enough for afternoon variable conditions. The 20m radius prefers medium-to-long arcs, and the flat tail delivers energetic turn finishes. Multiple reviewers call it one of the best all-mountain carving skis available.
The titanal comes with weight. The Serpo feels more planted, more serious, more deliberate than the rest of the lineup. In trees and bumps it is workable but not nimble. In powder it is too narrow. This is a groomer-first ski.
Now in its 5th season of unchanged construction. 24/25 and 25/26 are identical except for graphics.
