Description

Atomic's Revent M HD is an all-mountain ski goggle in Atomic's Medium fit, the size Atomic lists for slimmer faces and skiers who want a more compact frame, built around a spherical double lens with Atomic's HD contrast technology. It weighs 130 g, carries UV400 protection and lists ISO 18527-1:2022, and Atomic's size guide pairs the M size with S/M helmets; Atomic publishes no VLT or filter category for any colorway.

The lens curves both side to side and top to bottom, and Atomic says its HD Lens Technology dials up color, clarity and contrast. On the inside, an anti-fog lens works with vent foam that Atomic says blocks moisture while letting air circulate; the outer lens gets an anti-scratch hard coat and a hydrophobic coating against moisture, grease and dirt. A different lens snaps in through Easy Lens Switch, but the box holds one lens plus a microfiber bag and lens sleeve, and Atomic's page lists no replacement lens. The Live Fit frame and three-layer face foam (memory foam, standard foam, quick-drying fabric) are there to mold to your face, and OTG LITE grooves make room for prescription glasses.

Colorways on this listing are Black, White, Ocean, Concrete, Maven and Black / S1. Atomic gives no lens tint or light rating for any of them, so you are choosing a lens color by eye.

Who should skip it: broader faces, which Atomic's size guide puts in its Large fit, the Revent L HD; skiers who want a spare lens and magnetic changes in the box, which the Revent Q M HD adds; anyone who picks lenses by VLT number; skiers set on a photochromic lens, sold as the Revent M HD Photo; and people with large, thick glasses frames, since Atomic gives no size limit for OTG LITE.

At PTO we fit it in the shop on your face, with your own helmet and any glasses you wear, before you buy.

Technology

HD Lens Technology

Atomic’s contrast lens technology, which Atomic says dials up color, clarity and contrast. Atomic gives no VLT or lens category for it on this goggle.

Spherical Double Lens

A double lens that curves horizontally and vertically around the face.

Easy Lens Switch

A snap-in lens change for swapping to a different lens as the light changes. Only one lens comes in the box.

Anti-fog Inner Lens (AC) + Vent Foam

An anti-fog inner lens paired with vent foam over the frame vents, which Atomic credits with blocking moisture while air still moves through.

Anti-scratch Outer Lens (PC) + Hydrophobic Coating

A hard anti-scratch coating on the outer lens and a coating that Atomic says repels moisture, grease and dirt.

Live Fit Frame + Adaptive LF Tri-Layer Face Foam

A frame Atomic says molds to the contours of the face, lined with Adaptive LF Tri-Layer foam that pairs memory foam with a standard foam layer and quick-drying fabric.

OTG LITE

Extra grooves in the frame to take prescription eyewear. Atomic lists no maximum size for the glasses frame.

The Atomic Revent M HD is the Medium-fit version of Atomic’s Revent HD goggle: a spherical HD double lens, a snap-in lens change and one lens supplied, in Atomic’s Medium frame. Atomic lists it at 130 g, against 145 g for the Large-fit Revent L HD and 175 g for the magnetic Revent Q M HD.

The Revent M HD is first a sizing decision. Atomic’s size guide puts the M goggle with S/M helmets and sends broader faces to the L. That chart gets you to the right shelf, not the right goggle. What decides it is whether the foam seals all the way round your face and how the top of the frame meets your helmet brim. The silicone-coated strap is there to stop the goggle sliding up the back of the helmet.

The Revent M HD leaves the lens plan to you. Atomic prints no VLT, tint or filter category for any of the six colorways, and the one category-style label, in the name Black / S1, goes unexplained on the page. Easy Lens Switch is built for a second lens, but only one comes in the box, and the product page lists no replacement lens or spare tints. Atomic also puts no number on the HD contrast gain or the anti-fog performance. If your season swings between flat-light storm days and bluebird ones, look at the lens colors in the shop and decide whether one lens covers both.

Three Revent M siblings answer the questions this goggle leaves open. The Revent Q M HD keeps the Medium fit and HD lens but moves to a toric lens and a magnetic Q-System, and ships with an extra lens and a hard case. The Revent M HD Photo uses a photochromic HD PHOTO lens that Atomic says responds to changing light, also in Medium fit at 130 g. The Revent M Stereo, another Medium-fit model, carries Atomic’s mirrored Stereo lens, which Atomic pitches on glare reduction rather than HD contrast.

The Revent M HD suits a skier with a slimmer face who wants a spherical HD lens and is happy skiing on the one lens in the box.

Strengths

  • +Spherical double lens curves horizontally and vertically around the face
  • +HD Lens Technology aimed at sharper color and contrast
  • +Easy Lens Switch lets a second lens snap in
  • +Medium frame sized for slimmer faces and S/M helmets
  • +Atomic lists UV400 and ISO 18527-1:2022

Best For

Skiers with slimmer faces in S/M helmets who want a spherical HD lens with Easy Lens Switch, including those who wear slim prescription glasses.

Limitations

  • −No VLT or lens category published for any colorway
  • −Ships with one lens; Atomic lists no replacement lens
  • −Sized for slimmer faces; broader faces need the Revent L HD
  • −OTG LITE has no published glasses-size limit

Not For

Broader faces, which belong in Atomic’s L size, the Revent L HD; anyone who wants a second lens and hard case in the box with a magnetic swap, which is the Revent Q M HD; skiers who choose a lens by VLT, since Atomic prints none here; skiers who want a photochromic lens, a separate model called the Revent M HD Photo; plus wearers of bulky glasses frames, because OTG LITE has no stated size limit.

Common Questions

Atomic Revent M HD vs Revent L HD: what is the difference?
The Atomic Revent M HD comes in Atomic’s Medium fit, which Atomic matches to slimmer faces and S/M helmets, at 130 g. The Revent L HD is the Large fit for broader faces and M, L and XL helmets, at 145 g. Both use the spherical HD double lens, Easy Lens Switch, UV400 protection and OTG LITE grooves.
Atomic Revent M HD vs Revent Q M HD: which should I get?
The Atomic Revent M HD has a spherical HD lens and a snap-in Easy Lens Switch, ships with one lens and weighs 130 g. The Revent Q M HD stays Medium with an HD lens, but that lens is toric and changes by magnet through Atomic’s Q-System; it also adds an extra lens and hard case, at 175 g. Pick the Q if you want two lenses from day one.
What size is the Atomic Revent M HD, and will it fit my helmet?
The Atomic Revent M HD comes in one size, Atomic’s Medium, which its size guide pairs with S/M helmets and slimmer faces. Atomic names no specific matching helmet model. Bring your helmet to PTO and we check the seal and the gap at the brim before you buy.
What lens comes with the Atomic Revent M HD?
The Atomic Revent M HD comes with one spherical double lens using Atomic’s HD Lens Technology, with an anti-fog inner lens, anti-scratch and hydrophobic coatings and UV400 protection. Atomic does not publish the VLT or lens category of any colorway. Easy Lens Switch handles lens changes, but Atomic’s product page offers no replacement lens.
Can I wear glasses under the Atomic Revent M HD?
The Atomic Revent M HD has OTG LITE grooves cut into the frame for prescription glasses. Atomic gives no maximum glasses size, so slim frames are the likely fit and bulky ones may not clear. Bring your glasses and a PTO fitter will check the clearance before you buy.
