Description

Atomic's Revent L HD is an all-mountain ski goggle in Atomic's Large fit, the size Atomic lists for broader faces and skiers who like a roomier goggle, built around a spherical double lens with Atomic's HD contrast technology. It weighs 145 g, carries UV400 protection and lists ISO 18527-1:2022, and Atomic's size guide pairs the L size with M, L and XL helmets; Atomic publishes no VLT or filter category for any colorway.

The lens curves side to side and top to bottom, which Atomic says widens peripheral vision, and Atomic describes its HD Lens Technology as microcrystal-powered, for more color, clarity and contrast. An anti-fog inner lens works with vent foam that Atomic says keeps moisture out while air circulates, and the outer lens has anti-scratch and hydrophobic coatings. Easy Lens Switch lets you snap in a different lens, but only one lens is included, and a second is a separate purchase; the box adds a microfiber bag and lens sleeve. The Live Fit frame and three-layer face foam (memory foam, standard foam and a quick-drying fabric) are meant to mold to your face, and OTG LITE grooves leave room for prescription glasses.

This listing carries two frames. Standard comes in White, Maverick, Black, Concrete, Ocean and Black / S1. Low Bridge, in White and Black only, uses a geometry Atomic says sits deeper and more securely around the nose while relieving pressure through the frame. Atomic does not say which face shape the Low Bridge geometry is meant for.

Who should skip it: skiers with slimmer faces, whom Atomic's size guide points to the Medium-fit Revent M HD; anyone wanting a second lens included and magnetic lens changes, which is the job of the Revent Q L HD; anyone choosing lenses by VLT number; skiers wanting a photochromic lens, which Atomic sells as the Revent L HD Photo; and people with large, thick glasses frames, since Atomic gives no size limit for OTG LITE.

At PTO we fit it in the shop on your face, with your own helmet and any glasses you wear, before you buy.

Atomic logo

Technology

HD Lens Technology

Atomic’s microcrystal-based lens treatment, which Atomic says dials up color, clarity and contrast. Atomic gives no VLT or lens category for it on this goggle.

Spherical Double Lens

A double lens that curves horizontally and vertically around the face. Atomic says the shape expands peripheral vision.

Easy Lens Switch

A snap-in lens change for swapping to a different lens as the light changes. Only one lens comes in the box.

Anti-fog Inner Lens (AC) + Vent Foam

An anti-fog inner lens paired with vent foam over the frame vents, which Atomic credits with blocking moisture while air still moves through.

Anti-scratch Outer Lens (PC) + Hydrophobic Coating

A hard anti-scratch coating on the outer lens and a coating that Atomic says repels moisture, grease and dirt.

Live Fit Frame + Adaptive LF Tri-Layer Face Foam

A frame Atomic says molds to the contours of the face, lined with Adaptive LF Tri-Layer foam that pairs memory foam with a standard foam layer and quick-drying fabric.

OTG LITE

Extra grooves in the frame to take prescription eyewear. Atomic lists no maximum size for the glasses frame.

Low Bridge Geometry

The Low Bridge frame option, which Atomic says fits deeper and more securely around the nose and takes pressure off through the frame.

The Atomic Revent L HD is a Large-fit goggle that keeps things simple: a spherical HD lens, a snap-in lens change and a single lens supplied. Choosing it comes down to two Atomic siblings. If the frame feels like too much goggle, the Revent M HD keeps the same lens features in Atomic’s Medium fit for slimmer faces and lists 130 g against 145 g here. If you would rather swap lenses by magnet, the Revent Q L HD adds a magnetic Q-System, a second lens and an EVA box, with a toric lens and a 190 g listed weight.

The Revent L HD leaves the lens plan to you. Atomic prints no VLT, tint or filter category for the six Standard colorways or the two Low Bridge ones, and the one category-style label, in the name Black / S1, goes unexplained on the page. Easy Lens Switch means a second lens can go in later, but it is a separate purchase, and the product page names no replacement tints. If your season mixes flat-light storm days with bluebird ones, look at the lens colors in the shop and decide whether one lens covers both.

Fit is where the Revent L HD earns its place or misses. Atomic’s Large fit targets broader faces and anyone wanting a roomier feel, and the size guide puts it with M, L and XL helmets. That is a starting point, not an answer. What settles it is whether the foam seals all the way round and how the top of the frame meets your helmet brim. The silicone-coated strap is there to keep the goggle from creeping up the back of the helmet.

The Low Bridge option is about how the frame meets your nose. Its published datasheet matches the Standard version, 145 g included, so fit is the main reason to pick it, with the catch that it comes only in White and Black. If Standard goggles gap at the bridge of your nose or press on it, the Low Bridge pair is the one to try next.

The Revent L HD suits a skier with a broader face who wants a spherical HD lens and is happy running one lens until they decide to buy a second.

Strengths

  • +Spherical double lens curves horizontally and vertically around the face
  • +HD Lens Technology aimed at sharper color and contrast
  • +Easy Lens Switch lets a second lens snap in
  • +Low Bridge frame option for a deeper fit at the nose
  • +Atomic lists UV400 and ISO 18527-1:2022 on the datasheet

Best For

Skiers with broader faces in M, L or XL helmets who want a spherical HD lens with Easy Lens Switch, including those who need a deeper fit at the nose or wear slim glasses.

Limitations

  • −No VLT or lens category published for any colorway
  • −Ships with one lens; a second lens is sold separately
  • −Low Bridge frame comes only in White and Black
  • −Atomic names no face shape for the Low Bridge geometry
  • −OTG LITE has no published glasses-size limit

Not For

Slimmer faces, which Atomic’s size guide sends to the Revent M HD; anyone who wants a second lens in the box and a magnetic swap, which is the Revent Q L HD; skiers who choose a lens by VLT, since Atomic prints none here; skiers who want a photochromic lens, a separate model called the Revent L HD Photo; wearers of bulky glasses frames, because OTG LITE has no stated size limit; and Low Bridge shoppers who want a color other than White or Black.

Common Questions

Atomic Revent L HD vs Revent M HD: what is the difference?
The Atomic Revent L HD is the Large-fit version, which Atomic’s size guide matches to broader faces and M, L and XL helmets, at 145 g. The Revent M HD is the Medium fit for slimmer faces and S/M helmets, at 130 g. Both use the spherical HD double lens, Easy Lens Switch, UV400 protection and OTG LITE grooves.
Atomic Revent L HD vs Revent Q L HD: which should I get?
The Atomic Revent L HD has a spherical HD lens, a snap-in Easy Lens Switch and ships with one lens, at 145 g. The Revent Q L HD keeps the Large fit and HD lens but switches to a toric lens, a magnetic Q-System and an extra lens plus EVA box, at 190 g. Pick the Q if you want a magnetic swap with a second lens included.
What size Atomic Revent L HD should I get, Standard or Low Bridge?
The Atomic Revent L HD comes in one size, Atomic’s Large, which its size guide pairs with M, L and XL helmets. The Standard and Low Bridge frames share the same datasheet; Atomic says the Low Bridge geometry gives a deeper, more secure fit at the nose. Bring your helmet to PTO and we check the seal and the nose fit on both.
What lens comes with the Atomic Revent L HD?
The Atomic Revent L HD comes with one spherical double lens using Atomic’s HD Lens Technology, with an anti-fog inner lens, anti-scratch and hydrophobic coatings and UV400 protection. Atomic does not publish the VLT or lens category of any colorway. Easy Lens Switch takes a second lens, which is sold separately.
Can I wear glasses under the Atomic Revent L HD?
The Atomic Revent L HD has OTG LITE grooves cut into the frame for prescription glasses. Atomic gives no maximum glasses size, so slim frames are the likely fit and bulky ones may not clear. Bring your glasses and a PTO fitter will check the clearance before you buy.
