Description

The Anon Tracker 2.0 is Anon's youth goggle: a kid-sized frame with a cylindrical lens, an MFI face mask in the box, and room for glasses. Anon's size guide lists the frame at 87 mm tall and 149 mm wide in its SM/YTH size class, with 156° of horizontal and 85.6° of vertical field of view.

The frame is thermoplastic polyurethane, which Anon says stays flexible in cold weather, lined with dual-layer foam: one layer of foam plus moisture-wicking fleece. Anon uses a cylindrical injected lens to reduce peripheral distortion, applies its Integral Clarity anti-fog treatment, and says all of its lenses offer 100% UV protection. A vent channel runs around the full frame, and a no-slip silicone strap keeps the goggle in place. Anon rates the frame over-the-glasses compatible for kids who wear prescription eyewear.

The Tracker 2.0 ships with one lens, an MFI face mask and a microfiber goggle bag. The tint depends on the colorway, from Amber (55%, S1), in Anon's overcast category, to Silver Amber (23%, S2), one of its mid tints.

Anon lists the Tracker 2.0 for small and medium faces on a youth-specific frame, so it isn't meant for riders who have outgrown youth sizes. Choose Regular or Low Bridge; Low Bridge adds foam in the nose pocket for lower nose bridges. Bring your child's helmet and we'll check the fit and the gap at the forehead with you.

Anon logo

Technology

Cylindrical Injected Lens

Anon's cylindrical lenses curve on the horizontal axis only; Anon says the injected cylindrical lens on the Tracker 2.0 reduces peripheral distortion.

Integral Clarity Technology

Anon's anti-fog treatment. Anon's general care advice applies to kids' goggles too: don't wipe the inside of a lens, and let a fogged lens air-dry.

MFI® (Magnetic Face Mask Integration)

Magnetic connection between an Anon MFI mask and the goggle for gap-free coverage from wind and cold, in Anon's words. The Tracker 2.0 takes Anon's Standard carrier.

Traditional Lens System

The Tracker 2.0 lens is held by notches and tabs in the frame rather than magnets.

Features

  • ·Youth-specific frame, small-to-medium faces
  • ·Flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) frame
  • ·Cylindrical injected lens
  • ·MFI magnetic face mask integration, mask included
  • ·Over-the-glasses compatible
  • ·Dual-layer foam with a moisture-wicking fleece layer
  • ·Full-perimeter venting and no-slip silicone strap
  • ·Regular or Low Bridge fit

The Anon Tracker 2.0 fits a child whose face is too small for adult goggles. Its youth-specific frame measures 87 × 149 mm in Anon's size guide, clearly under the narrowest adult frame in that guide, the M6S at 92 × 162 mm, and it comes with an MFI face mask that seals to the goggle magnetically.

The Tracker 2.0's big decision is the lens, because only one comes in the box. Tints run from Amber (55%) and the Pink, Red and Blue Ambers (50%), all S1, to Gold Amber (32%), Smoke (35%) and Silver Amber (23%), all S2. None of the colorways carries an S3 or S4 lens, so for bright, high-altitude days an S2 tint is the darkest choice. Anon sells Amber, Clear and Silver Amber replacement lenses if you want a second.

The Tracker 2.0 also leaves out the adult extras. Its lens sits on notches and tabs rather than magnets, its tints are not from Anon's Perceive line, and it is not on Anon's helmet pairing chart, so check it against your child's helmet.

A goggle protects the eyes; it is not head protection. Anon doesn't publish a weight for the Tracker 2.0.

Strengths

  • +Youth-specific 87 × 149 mm frame sized for small-to-medium faces
  • +MFI face mask included; Standard carrier
  • +Over-the-glasses frame for kids who wear glasses
  • +Cold-flexible TPU frame, per Anon
  • +Replacement tints sold by Anon: Amber, Clear, Silver Amber

Best For

Kids with small or medium faces, including kids who wear glasses or ride in a face mask, who need one lens matched to the light they usually ski in.

Limitations

  • −One lens in the box; no bonus lens
  • −No S3 or S4 tint among the colorways
  • −Notch-and-tab lens mount, not magnetic
  • −Missing from Anon's helmet-goggle chart

Not For

Adults and older teens who have outgrown a youth-specific frame; families who want two lenses in the box; and kids who ski a lot of bright sun, since the darkest Tracker 2.0 tint is an S2.

Common Questions

What size is the Anon Tracker 2.0?
Anon's size guide puts the Tracker 2.0 frame at 149 mm wide by 87 mm tall, its youth size class, and Anon's fit line reads small and medium faces. Anon's helmet chart doesn't cover it, so bring your child's helmet to check the fit.
Which Anon Tracker 2.0 lens should I pick?
Pick for the light your child usually skis in. Amber and the other amber tints (Pink, Red, Blue) are S1, Anon's category for overcast and foggy days; Gold Amber, Smoke and Silver Amber are S2, which Anon describes as a medium tint for most conditions.
Does the Anon Tracker 2.0 come with a spare lens?
No. The box holds a single lens plus the MFI mask and a goggle bag. Anon sells Amber (55%, S1), Clear (85%, S0) and Silver Amber (23%, S2) replacement lenses for it.
Can kids wear glasses under the Anon Tracker 2.0?
Yes, per Anon: the frame is designed to take prescription glasses underneath. Glasses vary in size, so bring your child's pair and try the two together.
Does the Anon Tracker 2.0 work with Anon MFI face masks?
Yes. The included mask is MFI, and Anon's carrier guide lists the Tracker 2.0 on the Standard carrier, which comes with every Anon MFI mask.
