Description
The Anon M5 is a flat-toric goggle with a magnetic lens change. Anon's size guide puts the frame at 96 mm tall and 171 mm wide, with 176.5° of horizontal and 95.2° of vertical field of view.
Flat toric is Anon's blend of its cylindrical and toric lens shapes; Anon's pitch is sharper clarity and more peripheral vision from a cleaner-looking lens. The lens seats on Magna-Tech, rare-earth N52 magnets that hold it in the frame and, per Anon, let you swap it with gloves on. Lenses are Perceive, Anon's contrast tints, with a hydrophobic and oleophobic outer coating and the Integral Clarity anti-fog treatment inside. The semi-perimeter frame combines rigid points with a soft, flexible inner frame, and it runs ramped, moisture-wicking foam, a full-perimeter vent channel and a no-slip silicone strap. Anon rates it over-the-glasses compatible.
In the box: a bonus Perceive lens, an MFI face mask that attaches magnetically, a Magna-Tech storage case and a lens protector. Spare tints vary by colorway; a Sunny Red lens (14%, S3), for instance, comes with a Cloudy Burst spare (59%, S1).
Anon lists the M5 for medium and large faces, so small faces sit outside it, and pairs it with its Medium and Large helmets. Choose Regular or Low Bridge, the latter with extra nose-pocket foam for lower nose bridges. Bring your helmet and we'll check the fit and the forehead gap with you.

Technology
Flat Toric Lens
Anon's lens shape between its cylindrical lenses, curved horizontally only, and its toric lenses, curved both ways. Anon says the flat toric takes the best of both for clarity and peripheral vision, in a cleaner shape.
Magna-Tech®
Anon's magnetic quick-change lens system. Rare-earth N52 magnets align and hold the lens; Anon says the magnets give a secure lens-to-frame seal and allow swaps in gloves or mittens.
Perceive Lens
Anon's contrast tints, built with color absorbers that filter two light spectrums to help in flat light, plus a water- and oil-repelling exterior coating that Anon says makes the outer lens easy to clean.
Anon's anti-fog treatment, applied over a nano-etched inner lens on Perceive lenses. Anon's care rule: don't touch or wipe the inside; pull the lens and let it air-dry if it fogs.
Anon's magnetic link between goggle and face mask, meant to seal the mask to the frame without blocking the vents. The M5 takes the XL carrier, one of three that ship with every Anon MFI mask.

The Anon M5 suits a medium-to-large face that wants most of the M4's view without the M4's size. That is Anon's own framing too: the M5 sits between the M4 and the M6, for riders who want a wider peripheral view without the full M4 frame footprint.
The M5's numbers back that up. Anon lists 176.5° horizontal and 95.2° vertical on a 96 × 171 mm frame, against the cylindrical M4's 188° and 96° on 103 × 184 mm. You give up horizontal view and keep nearly all of the vertical, in a clearly smaller frame.
Against the M6 below it, the M5 lists more view both ways (176.5° / 95.2° against 169.6° / 87.6°) and a semi-perimeter dual-density frame where the M6 uses a single-density one. The Nesa lists more view still, 182° / 99.3°, but mounts its lens on notches and tabs rather than magnets.
The M5's limits are helmet fit and lens pairing. Anon's chart pairs it with Medium and Large helmets only; it ticks the M4 and the Sync for X-Large, and the M5S, WM3, WM1 and Helix 2.0 for Small. Sunny Onyx colorways ship a 34% S2 spare instead of an S1 cloudy-day lens, so flat-light riders should pick a Sunny Red or Variable Blue colorway. Anon doesn't publish a weight.
