Mountain rental counters rent by the day, in a line, every trip. This is the opposite: reserve once, and your kid has their own gear from first snow to closing weekend — at home in the mudroom, not in a rental queue.
You're not charged when you reserve. We check your child's profile against what we have, then email a payment link for $229 plus a $200 refundable deposit — good for 24 hours. The gear ships within 3–5 business days of payment.
Ordering before December locks the $229rate — it's $249 from December on, set by the day you order.

The program covers kids gear 128cm and under. You never pick a length — the same PSIA/AASI-certified team that fits kids in our Beaverton shop reads your child's profile and builds the package.
The six questions every parent asks
How do I get the sizing right from home?
You don't pick sizes — you tell us about your kid. Share their height, weight, age, and shoe size when you reserve, and our technicians build the package from that profile: skis or board, boots, and bindings, with the bindings set and release-checked before anything ships.
How do I know what length skis or board my kid needs?
You don't need to — that's our job. The program covers kids gear 128 cm and under, and the length inside that range comes from your child's profile, chosen by the same certified instructors who fit kids in the shop every day.
When does the gear ship, and when will it arrive?
We ship within 3–5 business days of payment — a technician sizes, mounts, and safety-checks every package first. You get tracking by email the day it leaves. Transit time depends on where you are in the lower 48.
What if my kid grows mid-season?
Shipped rentals don't include mid-season size swaps — that's part of the trade-off for the flat all-in price. Our technicians size each package from your child's current profile. If you're expecting a big growth spurt and want swap flexibility, the in-store season rental is the better fit: it includes free equipment swaps anytime.
How do I send it back at the end of the season?
A prepaid return label is in the box. When the season wraps up, pack the gear back into the box it came in, stick the label on, and hand it to the carrier — return shipping is already paid.
What if something breaks?
Normal wear and tear is on us. Damage from neglect or misuse may carry a repair charge, and the $200 refundable deposit — collected with payment — goes back to the same card once the gear is returned and checked over.
