Wonderful news for all women skiers! The Laser MP has everything that sporty and ambitious women need on the slopes. “MP” stands for “Motion Performance” – a synonym for the perfect balance between performance and agility. With a waist of 67 mm, this on-piste ski for women is specially designed for short to medium turns. Equipped with the Piste Core Light, Solid Metal Edge Light edges and Softflex, the Laser MP has been tailored precisely to the needs of women.

The take

The Laser MP is Stöckli's women's-specific performance carver — 'MP' stands for Motion Performance. I'd been on the Nela 88 first and found it too soft for what I wanted. The MP gave me what I was looking for.
This is a women's race-genre ski with real edge grip — on hard groomers and ice it locks in and stays. Stöckli designed the MP with Softflex construction and Piste Core Light for a lighter, more accessible flex pattern than the men's WRT, while keeping the same Swiss build quality and precision. The Flex Torsion Control titanal laminates in the tip adapt stiffness through the turn — softer entry, firm hold through the arc.
It's lighter and more forgiving than the WRT by design. Stöckli positions the MP as a performance carver for women who want race-level edge grip without the full demands of a men's race ski. Turn initiation is smoother and less effort-intensive.
Where it falls down: anywhere off groomed snow. The 67mm waist is a frontside specialist. In chop and crud it's not relaxed. But for women who carve groomers with intent, the MP delivers.
