Rossignol Sender Soul 92

The take
“Freeride feel without freeride commitment. The 92mm daily driver that just works.”
The Sender Soul 92 sits right in the sweet spot of Rossignol's freeride lineup. It's wider than the Arcade 84 and 88 for better off-piste capability, but narrower than the Sender Soul 102, keeping it nimble on groomers. At 92mm underfoot with a paulownia core and full sidewall construction, this is the all-mountain freeride ski for the skier who wants to do a bit of everything without committing to extremes.
The paulownia core is the same lightweight wood used in the women's Rallybird line, but here it's in a full sidewall construction with fiberglass reinforcement. The result is a ski that's light enough to be playful but structured enough to hold an edge when you commit. The Air Tip reduces swing weight for quick turn initiation, and Damp Tech absorbs vibration for a smoother ride.
The twin rocker profile is what gives this ski its freeride character. It floats in soft snow, releases easily at turn exit, and handles variable conditions without drama. The progressive sidecut lets you drift and smear when you want to, or carve a cleaner arc when you commit to the edges.
Compared to the Sender Soul 102, the 92 is quicker edge-to-edge and better on hardpack, but has less float in deep snow. Compared to the Rallybird Soul 92, the Sender Soul runs longer, a bit stiffer, and rewards a more aggressive style. They share the same sidecut dimensions and core material, but the Sender is built for bigger, stronger skiers.
Available as both a system (with Xpress 11 bindings) and flat for custom binding choice. If you're buying flat, pair it with a binding in the DIN 10-14 range depending on your weight and aggression level.
