Description

A Solid Mid-Range Women's Boot With BOA and Heat-Moldable Fit

The S/PRO Supra BOA 95 W is Salomon's intermediate-to-advanced women's boot. Flex 95, 100mm last, single BOA on the lower shell. It's the more approachable sibling of the 105 — stiff enough to handle blue and black groomers with authority, soft enough that it won't beat up your shins on a full day.

Key Specs

  • Flex 95 — the sweet spot for women who are past the learning phase but aren't charging expert-level terrain. Good progressive flex — it responds proportionally to the pressure you put in.
  • 100mm last — medium volume, accommodates average foot shapes. Custom Shell HD heat-moldable shell can be expanded to 100–106mm by a bootfitter if you need more room.
  • BOA Fit System (lower shell) — single dial for even forefoot closure. Replaces the traditional lower buckles. Easier to adjust, more consistent pressure.
  • 2 aluminum buckles (upper cuff) — screwed buckles, standard removal for bootfitting.
  • My Custom Fit 4D Sport liner — pre-shaped for an immediate fit. A step below the Exowrap 4D Performance liner in the 105, but still comfortable and supportive.
  • Women's Calf Adjuster — adjusts cuff perimeter (+11mm) and height (+4mm) for different calf shapes. If you've had cuff-gap issues in other boots, this helps.
  • SensiFit Mesh instep — makes stepping in and out easier. Small detail, but appreciated after a long day.
  • GripWalk soles — compatible with GripWalk, MNC, or MN bindings.

Who It's For

Intermediate to advanced women skiers, roughly 110–155 lbs, who ski 10–25 days a season on mostly groomed terrain. You're comfortable on blues and starting to push into blacks. You want a boot that's responsive but won't punish you for not being perfect. Good choice for progressing skiers who are ready to step up from a flex-70–80 beginner boot.

Worth Knowing

Flex 95 is genuine intermediate-advanced territory. If you're a lighter skier (under 120 lbs) or a true beginner, this will feel stiff. Look at a 75 or 80 flex instead. Conversely, if you're a strong, aggressive skier who already charges blacks, the 105 will give you more support at speed. The 100mm last is medium — not narrow, not wide. If your foot is genuinely wide, consider the Delta line (102mm).

The S/PRO Supra BOA 95 W takes the same ExoWrap platform as the 105 W and softens the flex to 95, hitting the sweet spot for strong intermediate-to-advanced women. The BOA dial provides micro-adjustable forefoot wrapping, and the Women Calf Adjuster adds extra fitting flexibility — it modifies the cuff perimeter by 11mm and height by 4mm to accommodate different calf shapes, which is a feature the stiffer 105 W doesn't include.

At $441, it's $70 less than the 105 W and arguably the better value for most women outside of expert-level skiing. You still get Custom Shell HD, GripWalk, walk mode, and BOA — with a more forgiving flex and better calf adjustability.

Strengths

  • +Women Calf Adjuster (+11mm perimeter, +4mm height) for different calf shapes
  • +BOA + ExoWrap at a more accessible $441 price than the 105 W
  • +Flex 95 is the sweet spot for strong intermediate-to-advanced women

Best For

Strong intermediate-to-advanced women who want BOA convenience, calf adjustability, and ExoWrap precision at a moderate price.

Limitations

  • Flex 95 may still feel stiff for lighter intermediate skiers
  • 35mm strap is narrower than the 105 W's 45mm — slightly less instep lockdown
  • 100mm medium-volume last — not for wide feet

Not For

Beginners (too stiff), wide-footed women (need 102mm+ last), or expert women who want max stiffness (get the 105 W).

Common Questions

What does the Women Calf Adjuster do?
It modifies the cuff to accommodate different calf shapes — adding up to 11mm of perimeter and 4mm of height. Women often have wider calves relative to ankle size, and this adjuster prevents the common problem of calf pressure and pain at the top of the boot.
Is this boot good for intermediate skiers?
Strong intermediates who ski confidently on blue and black runs — yes. If you are still learning to link parallel turns, flex 95 may feel stiff. In that case, look at the S/PRO Delta BOA 95 W for a wider, more forgiving option.
