The take

A pop machine — the Titanal centerline and carbon beams give this thing more energy than the flex rating suggests.

The Indoor Survival is CAPiTA's park-meets-mountain freestyle board — a true twin with a Meta Core that packs more technology per dollar than almost anything in its class. The core combines Paulownia/Poplar wood with Beech stringers, 2x 30mm carbon beams and a full-length Titanal centerline strip. That Titanal gives the board stability and damping that belies its soft 4.5 flex rating.

The Park V1 camber profile puts traditional camber between the feet for pop and control, then zeros out 4cm before the sidecut ends, transitioning into flat kick nose and tail for catch-free tips. The Death Grip sidecut — a reverse arc in the midsection — adds extra grip through turns without making the board hooky.

The result is a board that's incredibly easy to access pop from. Side hits, ollies, jumps — the energy return is immediate. The Titanal centerline keeps things stable when you open it up on groomers between park laps, but this board's heart is in the terrain park.

The sintered Quantum Drive base is a nice touch at this price point — faster and more durable than the extruded bases you find on many park boards.
