PTO — One-Year Anniversary Thank You

One year ago today, we opened the doors to PTO Ski & Snowboard Center. It started with a simple idea: give Portland a place to learn skiing and snowboarding year-round, without the two-hour drive to the mountain. Today, looking back at everything we've accomplished, that idea feels bigger than we ever imagined.

In our first year, we've taught hundreds of students — from three-year-olds in our Tiny Slider program to adults who never thought they'd strap on skis. We've run summer camps, hosted birthday parties, and watched families come back week after week to build skills and make memories together.

None of this would be possible without our team. Our coaches pour their hearts into every lesson. They celebrate every breakthrough, patiently work through every frustration, and genuinely care about every student who steps onto the machine. If PTO has a soul, it's our coaching staff.

To everyone who has supported us this year — students, families, friends, and neighbors — thank you. Year one was about proving the concept. Year two is about raising the standard. We're investing in new programs, better equipment, and an even more welcoming experience. The best is ahead.
